I operate at the intersection of design, business, and operations. What this means is that I can see the beauty in details, the value from 30,000 feet, and what’s coming around corners.
At Google, I run UX Engagement for Material Design, which sits centrally within a company that’s solving world-scale user problems. The result is that I get to see across hundreds of products that produce thousands of screens seen by billions of people. From that vantage point, I'm able to identify patterns of challenge and opportunity at the Google level, and use that knowledge to create better products for customers and users.
This is what I’ve honed over my 12 years. It’s what gets me up in the morning: figuring out how to drive strategy for things that matter, at scale, by getting people to row in the same direction at the same time.
Just, y'know... for a battleship. 😅
